Balcony glazing - Unique design

The Bentech Balcony Glazing System is the only one on the market in which the glass panels are supported by the lower rail (similar to a sliding window system). The weight of the glass is transferred directly to the lower rail without subjecting joints and fittings to any loads.
Safety glass
Safety glass with a minimum thickness of 6 mm is used. Local wind loads and allowable maximum deflection of the glass panels determines suitable thicknesses. The glass panels always have ground or polished edges.
Watertightness
The vertical gap between the closed glass panels is nominally 1 mm . This prevents water and snow from seeping through. In extremely exposed areas, additional transparent PVC profiles covering the vertical gap between the glass panels will completely prevent leakages. These transparent profiles are easy to press into place.
Opening mechanism
The design of the opening and locking mechanism is vital to any glazing system. Bentech mechanisms are highly reliable and robust, and their patented design ensures security and trouble-free operation.
Door system
The Bentech Balcony Glazing System can also be used as a "door system", up to 2700 mm high. 8 to 10 mm thick hardened glass is used.
